Legal and privacy
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Linkeem collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Linkeem mobile application, website, and related services.
Effective and last updated: August 3, 2026
Information we collect
Account and profile information
We collect information you provide when creating or managing an account, such as your name, username, email address, mobile number, birth date, gender selection, profile photo, biography, links, privacy preferences, and authentication data. Passwords are protected and are not stored as readable text.
Content and communications
We process posts, photos, videos, reels, stories, captions, music selections, comments, reactions, reports, and messages you choose to create or send. Public content and public profile information can be seen by other users according to your account and audience settings. Private messages are delivered to their intended participants and may be reviewed when reported for safety or when required by law.
Media and device permissions
Linkeem uses the Android system photo picker so you can choose specific photos or videos for an upload. We do not request unrestricted access to your entire photo or video library. Camera and microphone access is requested only when you choose a feature that needs it, such as capturing media or recording audio. Notification permission is used to deliver alerts you enable.
Usage, device, and technical information
We may collect app version, device and browser type, language, IP address, session identifiers, push notification tokens, network and crash diagnostics, security events, and interactions with content. This information supports account security, service reliability, moderation, feed relevance, and performance improvements.

- Create and secure accounts, restore sessions, and prevent fraud or unauthorized access.
- Deliver posts, stories, reels, messages, notifications, and other requested features.

Advertising identifiers
When information is shared
We may share information only as needed in these circumstances:
- With other users according to the content, audience, and privacy choices you make.
- With hosting, content delivery, email, notification, security, and technical service providers acting for Linkeem.
- To investigate abuse, protect a person, enforce our terms, or comply with valid legal requests.
- As part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or transfer of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.
Linkeem does not sell your personal information.
Data retention and account deletion
We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Retention may continue for limited periods for backups, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or enforcement. You can request account deletion from the Linkeem app under Settings and account ownership controls. You may also contact support@linkeem.com. Deletion removes or anonymizes account information unless continued retention is legally required.
Your choices and rights
You can update profile information, choose account privacy and content audiences, manage notifications, withdraw optional device permissions in system settings, block or report accounts, download content you have access to where supported, and request correction or deletion of your information. Rights can vary by location.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted network transport, controlled access, authentication controls, and monitoring. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Linkeem is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly permit children under 13 to create accounts. If you believe a child has provided information contrary to this requirement, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Our separate Child Safety Standards explain how to report child-safety concerns.
International processing
Linkeem and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. We apply safeguards appropriate to the information and applicable law when information is transferred.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Linkeem changes or legal requirements evolve. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required.
